Mr. Chris England , Director, President & CEO
Chris England brings to the position many years of experience as a stock broker, beginning with Pemberton Securities Ltd., and Yorkton Securities Inc. in the 1980’s; and as a Shareholder and Divisional Sales Manager of Georgia Pacific Securities Ltd. from 1990 to 1999. He retired from the brokerage business when Georgia Pacific was sold in 1999, and has since worked with a number of public companies in a consulting capacity, as well as, an officer and director.
Mr. Raymond Demotte, Director
Mr. Demotte has over 28 years of experience working for companies such as The Bechtel Corporation and McKesson Corp. He is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists and has served in various capacities in the mining industry since 1995. He brings to the Company, a wealth of experience in financing of public companies, raising over 45 million dollars in equity financing, and has brought two mining operations into production.
Dr. Colin Bowdidge Ph.D., P. Geo., Director
Dr. Bowdidge has worked in mineral exploration since 1968, with a large part of that time devoted to uranium. He has hands-on experience on uranium projects in the Athabasca basin of Northern Saskatchewan, as well as the Thelon, Danville, Nonacho and Sibley basins (soon to include the Deer Lake basin) and the Grenville province. He has managed and executed exploration programs with annual budgets of up to $5.5 million and field crews of up to 25 people. In 2001, he conceived and initiated the Sibley basin uranium project, which was eventually vended to New Shoshoni Ventures Ltd. and then Rampart Ventures Ltd.
As a director of Greenstone Resources Ltd. from 1986 to 2000 Dr. Bowdidge has experience in large-scale planning of mine development, and an understanding of the pitfalls of trying to bring mines into production. He has demonstrated his ability to think creatively with the discovery of the Olden wollastonite deposit, which was achieved in four days using data that had been in the public domain for five years.
Dr. K. Warren Geiger Ph.D. P.Eng. P.Geol, Director, V.P. of Exploration
Dr. Geiger has a Ph.D. in Economic Geology from Cornell University, as well as a Bachelors Degree in Mining Engineering, from the University of Alberta. He specializes in the evaluation and monitoring of mining exploration projects and has been a principal in the formation, financing, property acquisition and management of exploration-oriented mining companies. Noteworthy examples of these companies are Aquarius Resources Ltd. (President), Arizona Star Resource Corp (President), Nevada Star Resource Corp. (President) and Alberta Star Mining Corp (Vice President). He is a "Qualified Person" as defined in National Instrument 43- 101 and has been approved to write geological reports.
Ms. Karen Robertshaw, Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Robertshaw has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and has worked as a staff accountant for Kenway Mack Slusarchuk Stewart LLP in Calgary Alberta from 2002 to 2008. She has been the accountant for WestCan Uranium since March of 2008.
