WestCan Uranium Coal Update
Friday June 12th, 2009
WestCan Uranium Corp., announces that a mobilization team has travelled to Wapawekka Lake, in the Lac La Ronge area of north-central Saskatchewan this week and spent time with contractors, logistical support personnel and drilling companies, in preparation for the Company’s drill program in that area. The program has outlined 25 potential drill sites on Coal Prospecting Permits held by WestCan, and the Company is preparing budgets for Phase One which consists of 4 to 6 drill holes.
It is expected exploration and drilling could commence in late July or early August following the completion of the Tobin Lake drill program, depending on permitting, weather and ground conditions.
